Yes, we can hang educational posters on the walls and do other Charlotte-Mason-y things, other TJed things and as long as we’re not FORCING our kids to engage in activities against their will, we’re still unschoolers. Amen. You should order the mineral posters from mii.org, they have a poster of the human body with the minerals we need, ours is on the fridge, because that’s where we are when we eat minerals. Erasing the lines between life and learning doesn’t need to mean erasing everything that might be found in a school.

Hey Ronet! I really enjoy your thoughts on unschooling. I found myself in a very similar situation a year or so ago. Makes me curious how many folks would be more open to unschooling if they could read your perspective. What a great resource! ~Bryan
